Harriet Russell: Envelopes
Harriet Russell is a London-based illustrator, who studied at studied at Glasgow School of Art and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and who is known for her quirky designs and illustrations. Her book entitled Envelopes (published by Random House in November, 2005) is an illustrated collection of seventy-five witty and eccentric postmarked envelopes that made it through the postal system against all odds. The book is available in the Mack Library (details via the library catalogue). Harriet's website includes a short biography of the artist, along with some images from her editorials, books, prints and design.
