Arts and Humanities Data Service: Tim Mara Collection

The Tim Mara Collection is now available through Arts and Humanities Data Service and includes artworks by Irish Printmaker Tim Mara dating from the early 1970s until his death in 1997, when he was Professor of Printmaking at the Royal College of Art.
Mara's pop-art influenced work was much influenced by old masters like Velásquez and Vermeer and reflects features of the Dutch Masters (such as light, clarity and stillness) combined with a pop sensibility of repeating patterns, reflection, refraction and shadow.
