Victoria and Albert Museum: Corsets and Crinolines

This series of illustrated essays on corsets and crinolines comes from the Victoria and Albert Museum. They discusses changes in body shape throughout the Victorian period ("from cage crinolines to bustles and body-hugging corsets"), crinolettes and the "healthy corsets" of the late 19th century, corsets in the early 20th century, and those of contemporary fashion.
