Material Intelligence

Kettles Yard has just launched their first ever free online exhibition catalogue, with interviews with 5 of the 8 artists in their current exhibition Material Intelligence. Each of the artists in this exhibition has a unique and often quirky way of using materials. In one gallery Tony Feher has created an installation using suspended plastic bottles filled with water and called it 'Singing Room'. Elsewhere visitors will find what appears to be an impossible experiment/sculpture made with crates, wine glasses, gloves and tennis balls that together bridge an alcove in the gallery.
